Taven Ross Clancy

Taven is here! What an amazing process to have a baby. Truly amazing from start to never ending. Taven is healthy, growing and changing everyday. He weighed 5 lbs 15 oz and was 18.5 in long. He dropped a bit to much weight waiting for real milk to come in but now he is a champ at eating and is over 6 lbs.

One week left...

Well, my blood pressure is not going down to where it should be even though I am on bedrest and doing nothing. My midwife said that no matter what, I am being induced on the 18th unless this little man comes out before then. I hope he does come sooner but obviously, don't get to call the shots. Every 2 days I am going into the hospital for a non-stress test, or an ultrasound, or a regular check up. They are watching me really carefully yet I feel fine. It is a weird thing. In the end, the goal is the same, a healthy baby boy. I cannot wait to hold him and love him and share him with our family...what an exciting time!

Just over 2 weeks Left!

I know! It is upside down...I need a lot of help on this website...

I found my camera! I thought it was lost which meant that I couldn't post pictures I had or take any more so there is a big gap in time but I am just glad to have the camera found. (It was in a drawer in my house...no big deal!)In this picture I am about 36 weeks pregnant. I am currently almost 38 weeks pregnant.

Things have been going really well except for a startling surprise of having to go to the hospital the other night and have blood work done as well as monitor Taven for 3 hours. I went in for a routine weekly check and my blood pressure was REALLY high. It is normally perfect so it was a bit creepy for me. I will find out Monday if I can work still or if I am on bed rest. This weekend I am supposed to lay low, on Monday I go to work for a half day and if my blood pressure is still high then I guess I will be waiting at home for labor to begin...BORING!

I will get better pictures taken and add to this bad boy. Sorry to keep everyone waiting!

Pregnancy...14 weeks left

Well, I have decided to be brave and post pictures of me as I grow with Taven. You will notice that I am growing in my rear and face, just as much as I am growing out but no need to discuss this with others.

Ready for summer!

So I heard an awful statistic today. We are in our 6th month of 2008 and we have had only 23 days of sun so far. I am ready for nicer weather, my summer job to start and really ready to know what grade I am teaching next year. I can't wait to spend more time with my family too. I have a lot of great people in my life and I am ready to spend more time with them. Maybe even a puppet show with my Finnegan nephews...

16 weeks to go!

Well, we are getting ready for a real life change by welcoming Taven Ross in about 16 weeks (at the most hopefully). He is really kicking me a lot lately and Trent loves that he can feel him too. Infact, Grandma Clancy felt him kick the same week that she heard his heart beat and saw pictures from the ultrasound. What a trip! Grandma and Grandpa Clancy bought us his crib and it has been fun to put things in and will look even cuter when Taven is in it!
