I love the holidays!
Well, the holidays are over and it was better than ever. We have the best present ever, a healthy baby and healthy family. These are some photos taken with the Clancy side of the family. I still need to upload more photos and will get to that soon. I can't believe how much fun we had and how fast it went! Thank you to the Finnegan's for hosting us for 4 days and of course to Colleen and the Greens for good food and company but mostly to our parents for your amazing generosity. We are so lucky!

I'm Dreaming of a White Christmas...
So perfect! Family snow day!

And so much more to come!

Taven loves his Cozy Cover!

I love Christmas

All bundled up to see the Christmas lights.

I uploaded the wrong picture here but he still looks cute!

Grandpa and Taven before we went to Warm Beach to see the lights.

This is Taven's first Christmas. What a handsome family!

Our lights look great Trent! Especially with the snow!

This last week has been so fun! I have had all of my sisters around, spent a ton of time with my mom, inlaws were here for some fun, Trent had a long weekend off and we decorated for Christmas. Life is good. These are some random photos from over the last 2 weeks that I want to share. I am also savoring every moment with Taven because I have to go back to work next Monday. :( I am sure that once I get into a routine it will be better but I have been so blessed by a healthy family and the ability to stay home for as long as I did. I knew this time would come, I am just not ready yet.
Trent is already teaching Taven to play the drums...
And cousin Addi when we watched her one day...
Taven still loves his chair...
And his thumb...
And his soother.
Isn't he so cute!
When Grandma and Grandpa Clancy were here for a weekend we met for lunch and played at a park. This is Grandpa with Jackson. It was cold but beautiful...
Sweet Sophia finally met her cousin Taven...
and all she wants to do is kiss him...
and push him in the swing.
This is Sophia sitting in the box that the toys stay in.
What a cutie...
My nieces are still learning to kiss...I think sophia is copying Addi
Addison's hands got burnt so they are wrapped up
Taven also met Hailey
Some of the lovely Cushman ladies (and Taven of course...)

One more thing...
The picture below is Taven at about 2 weeks old, he is WAY to small for his newborn outfit and doing his little stretch he always does after he eats and is being picked up. So cute!
Proud Mommy!
Taven has found his thumb. He is such a sweet baby and it is fun to see his personality develop. These days he is: self soothing (sometimes)with his thumb, crying only when he is hungry or uncomfortable, sleeping longer stretches (i get 4-5 hours in a row now!), smiling, cooing, laughing, loves to get read to before bed, sit in his bumbo, hold things for a while (when put in his hand), holds his head up at 45 degrees when playing on his tummy, holding his head up, swings at things that dangle in his face, tracks things, recognizes mommy and daddy's voice, and is starting to recognize when his needs are going to be met (putting a little trust in mommy and daddy, what a feeling for us!) Just to name a few accomplishments! (Obviously I am enamored by him!)

A brand new baby!
Taven got his shots yesterday and he just fussed a little (Trent was proud) but a few hours later, everytime Taven moved his legs he screamed. I think he had his muscles flexed and it was sore. We gave him Tylenol and rocked him to sleep but it was a long night. At 2:45 this morning I went to feed him and change him and he was a brand new little guy. He was laughing, cooing, smiling and it melted my heart. I cried joyous tears, woke up his daddy and had him share the excitement with me. Taven made my day; I cannot describe how incredible it is to make your baby smile and know that they feel loved and happy, especially after how upset he was that night. What an amazing feeling!!!
